Online
parties are an effective and affordable way to promote your business
and produce sales, but you need to be prepared to answer any and
all questions about your product and company that may arise. If
you come into a party unprepared to answer questions you may leave
your potential customers or recruits with doubts. This is not
what we want to do, so lets get ready!
Know the company. How long has the company been
in business? Have they always been an internet business with consultants?
When did they start using consultants? How many consultants are
with the company? Where is the company based? Who is the owner?
What is the company contact information? This is information you
probably learned when you became a consultant but you need to
make sure you have the correct information when someone at a party
ask.
Know the products, not just the basic information,
but the detailed information. Name, Cost, Size, Use, Packaging,
Color, Fragrance, Ingredients, and any other information that
may pertain to the product you are selling. The best way to know
your product is to try it yourself if you haven’t before.
I’m not saying you have to test everything but you should
make an effort to know the most popular products from experience.
Sometimes the lesser known products produce the most questions
so its always best to know as much as you can about the products
you offer.
Know the policies the company has for shipping
and returns. Were will they ship? What shipping method is used?
How are shipping cost calculated? Will the company accept returns?
If the company allows returns do they issue refunds or replacement?
What is the policy for items damaged in shipping?
Don’t limit your knowledge of the company
to just these questions. Make a list of questions you think possible
customers or recruits might ask and find out the answers. Then
you will know more about the company and have a handy reference
should the need arise.
